DISCLAIMER: MY IDEA FOR THIS CAME FROM DESTINYBLUE'S "If tears left scars...". Just saying.
ENJOY!

The school day went by too quickly for my liking, and before I knew it, I was in my last class of the day. It's one of my favorite classes: English with Ms. Reid. I share this period with Lucy, Dan, and Nate (and thankfully, Ms. Reid let us choose our seats at the beginning of the year). I sit in the  second row from the left, third seat from the front with Nate on my right, Dan in front of me, and Lucy in front of Nate. It's a nice arrangement.
"Alright, class, let's take out our books," Ms. Reid said in her usual energetic tone. We're reading the stories of King Oedipus, and we were finishing Antigone.
"So, did you do the reading?" Dan whispered to Lucy. "I was messaging Zach and got distracted..." She giggled.
Zach is the guy Dan has a crush on. They're the same height, but Zach has lighter brown hair styled kinda short and spiked up. He has chocolate brown eyes (while Dan has golden brown eyes), and he seems to have a strong build. He always wears a black pull-over sweatshirt with the Kingdom Hearts heartless symbol on the back and jeans of various colors. His shoes are black sneakers with dark purple laces and a belt to match said laces.
"Zach, huh?" she teased.
"C'mon, I need to see your notes!" He started pouting at her, and she sighed.
"You're too adorable, Danny..." she whispered, handing him her notes.
"Thank you~!" he said smiling. He started reading and I laughed quietly, causing Lucy to look at me and grin.
"Now, class," Ms. Reid started. "Who can tell me why Antigone wouldn't apologize for trying to bury her brother, even when she knew she would get the death sentence if she didn't?" Nate and I raised our hands along with a few other people in the class. "Nate?"
"Because she felt it was right," he said smoothly.
"And why did she think that?" she asked the class. Again, we raised our hands with some classmates. "Samantha?" Ms. Reid called me by my full name, like most of the other adults in the building.
"Because it was her brother, and family was important to her no matter what the punishment," I said smoothly as well.
"Good! Now..." She continued the lesson while Nate and I did a quick fist bump and grinned at each other. Ms. Reid told us we were two of her favorite students, and we were pretty proud.
"Hey Sam?" Nate whispered to me. I turned toward him slightly, and he handed me a piece of lined paper folded in fourths. It had a little smiley face on it, and I giggled looking at it and opened it.
"Do you want to hang out in the library after school?" it said. He wrote in pencil, so I took out my favorite purple pen and wrote back.
"Sure! Do you have a lot of homework?" I folded the note back up and passed it back as Ms. Reid wrote on her white board. He took it and opened it, smiling as he read the note. He wrote back and passed the paper.
"Nah, I had a study today. I actually got my homework done there, so I just have this class and my science homework to do. You?" I clicked my pen and wrote.
"That's what I have left, too! We can work on it together!" I passed it back, letting him write, and took it back when he was done.
"That sounds good. Maybe after, we can hang out at my house. :)"
"That sounds awesome! We have to keep working on our world if we do!"
"Definitely." I kept the note after reading this, drawing on it with my pencil instead of my pen. Before I knew it, the bell rang and we were packing up. As the rest of the class left, my friends and I packed our bags.
"What were you drawing?" Dan asked me.
"I was drawing stuff," I responded with a smirk. He took the paper from my hand, and I practically tackled him. "Give it back, Daniel!"
"I want to see what you were drawing!" he said, struggling to open the note. Eventually he did and saw my drawing. "Really? God, you're so obsessed with Minecraft..." he sighed, dropping the paper on my desk.
"What?" I questioned. "Creepers are adorable!" I smiled at him and took the note back, giggling at the cute little Creepers I had drawn.
"Whatever you say, Sammy..." he said sarcastically. He picked up his plain black bag with "DAN" sewn on it in white and walked out of the classroom with Lucy, leaving Nate waiting for me while I zipped my backpack.
"So, library?" he asked with a sweet smile.
"Of course," I said returning the smile. We left the classroom and headed to the library.
"So, you were drawing Creepers?" he laughed.
"Duh! I love Creepers!" I answered giggling.
"Yeah, I know. I saw the plush Creeper in your room last time I was over."
"Oh, c'mon. It was 50% off!" I shoved him slightly, and he chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah." He rolled his eyes at me. "Here you are!" he said, holding the door of the library open for me and bowing slightly.
"Awww, thanks, Nate!" I said, walking in.
Our school's library is pretty nice. It has a lot of books (obviously) in the front section and an area of two-person tables in the back near a big window overlooking the sports fields. The floors are carpeted pale red with dark blue outlines at the walls, which are white. Whenever I come here with my friends, we sit in the corner tables next to the window, which is exactly where Nate and I were heading. He sat down and patted the seat next to him, which I gladly took.
"So how about we start with Science?" I asked.
"Sounds good," Nate answered. We took out our Biology books and turned to the pages on proteins. Biology is pretty easy for us, so it wasn't very difficult work. We finished the assignment quickly.
"Antigone time?" Nate asked with a smile.
"Antigone time," I responded, taking out my book while he did the same. We took turns reading the lines, finishing the section and the final part of the book quickly. We worked together on the questions, finally reaching the last two. "Why did Haemon stab himself when he saw Antigone was dead?" I read.
"That's easy!" Nate chirped. "Haemon stabbed himself because he was in love. He had lost the love of his life, and he just couldn't bear to be without her." I started writing.
"Wait, say the last part again," I said, looking up from my paper to look at him.
" I said," he started, looking right in my eyes. "He couldn't bear to be without her... He truly loved Antigone..." A small smile was on his face, and I felt a slight blush on my cheeks...
"Oh, okay..." I said shakily. I didn't get it... What was that? I forced myself to write what he said on the paper and then looked back at him. He had finished writing before I had, and was watching me write my answer before going to the next question.
"Alright, last question," he started. "Why did Eurydice kill herself upon hearing of her son's death?"
"Eurydice couldn't bear it, either," I said. This one was easy, too. "Her only son had died, what do you expect?" We wrote quickly and put our papers away.
"Well, we're all done. Let's go, Sammy!" Nate said excitedly. I had to laugh at his enthusiasm as  picked my bag up and walked out with him.
*     *     *
The walk to his house was short, considering he lived close to the school. His house is a modest property, two-stories and pale yellow with a brown roof. The windows were painted with a white border to match the door, and the steps were brown, left unpainted. As we walked up, Nate took his plain silver key out of his back pocket and when we got to the door, he unlocked it in a way that showed that he had been doing that for years.
"I'm home!" he yelled when he walked in. "I brought company!"
"Welcome home, Nate!" his mom yelled from the kitchen.
"Hello, son!" his dad shouted from the living room. Nate took off his shoes and waited while I did the same. Then we went up the stairs and into his room.
His room is pretty nice. It isn't a big room, but it isn't small either. He has a queen-sized bed with a dark blue comforter and sheets placed against the right wall, which like all the other walls is white. The back wall has a window that has a view of his front yard, while the front wall has a closet with white doors that slide depending on which side of the closet you want to look for stuff in. Directly across from his bed on the left wall is a small bookcase with his TV on top of it. He put canvas drawers in some of the shelves so that he could put various consoles and wires away neatly. The floor is hardwood, and on the walls he puts pictures everywhere. I recognize a lot of them, since some of them are of of us, like the picture of the six of us at the beach and the two of us hugging.
"Hang on, I need to change the imput on here," Nate said apologetically, switching from TV to HDMI so we could use the Xbox. He turned it on and handed me the light blue controller, taking the dark blue one for himself, and sat next to me on the bed. "Did you get new ideas over the weekend?"
"You know I did, Nate," I scoffed. "I found plans for a little restaurant. It was just so cute..."
"Alright, let's build then." He clicked on MINECRAFT and the game started loading.
Nate and I love playing MINECRAFT. We started a world together, and whenever we can, we work on it together. We've built a lot of stuff together, and since we play on Creative Mode, we can make almost anything we want.
Once the game loaded, he clicked on "Load Game" and picked "Ours".
"So, how are we going to do this?" Nate asked.
"Just do what I say. I remember the video," I instructed. He just rolled his eyes at me and followed my orders. When we were about halfway done, I got a phone call. "Hang on, Nate." I checked my phone. It was Riley. "I-I have to take this... Hello?" I asked, answering the phone.
"Hey, Sam. Can you come over? I was wondering if I could get some advice..." He sounded kind of worried...
"Well, hang on a sec, okay?" I muted the phone and turned to Nate. "Um, Nate? Do you mind if I-"
"I heard what he said. Don't worry, it's fine," he said. I wasn't sure, but I thought I heard something off about the way he said that...
"Okay. Thank you, Nate," I said, giving him a hug. He hugged back tightly, but let go once I started moving to get my bag. "I'm sorry, I just-"
"No, it's fine, just go help him. I don't mind," he said quickly. I gave him a small smile, and he returned it. I unmuted the phone.
"I'm coming over now, okay?" I said as I walked down the stairs.
"Okay. Thank you, Sam. Bye." We hung up and I thanked his parents for letting me come over, put my shoes back on, and started walking.
